As the Principal of The Mahoney Real Estate Group, I have taken my passion for real estate and made it my life.
It all started with my parents. As entrepreneurs, they built their own businesses from the ground up — providing both inspiration and a blueprint for success I could follow later in life.
After studying Marketing and Corporate Finance, I took both my knowledge and my passion and got to work purchasing my first investment property at 23.
I continued working to diversify my portfolio with different asset classes and invested my money in pre construction homes and rental properties with positive cash flow.
What I learned was that it takes both an analytical mind, and a personal touch, to discuss feasibility and explore possibilities, whether you’re building a portfolio, selling your home for more money, or finding your dream home.
As I grew in my career and in my life, two key ideas came into focus: the financial and personal impact of boutique buildings in Toronto, separation/divorce and downsizing which, to me, are an underserved niche that required real attention.
